A favourite highlight at the Gimli Glider Exhibit is our flight simulator
One of the highlights at the Gimli Glider Exhibit is the flight simulator. And it’s recently become even better! Retired RCAF Emery Gal and Air Canada Pilot Mal MacDonald, Ret. have made significant upgrades including updated graphics showing Gimli and trailers and cars in the path of the air craft. And so far our visitors are loving it! Many have even said it’s the “best experience I have ever had on a sim.” Come check it out for yourself. We are open daily in the summer from 11am – 5pm. A future pilot, Owen Carlson of Langley BC visited the GGE and gave our simulator a good work out. |
